Too often we don't realize
What we have until it is gone
Too often we wait too late to say
"I'm sorry - I was wrong."

Sometimes it seems we hurt the ones
We hold dearest to our hearts
And we allow foolish things
To tear our lives apart.

Far too many times we let
Unimportant things into our minds
And then it's usually too late
To see what made us blind.

So be sure that you let people know
How much they mean to you
Take that time to say the words
Before your time is through.

Be sure that you appreciate
Everything you've got
And be thankful for the little things
in life that mean a lot.

UNENDING DARKNESS

What is life? Tale, saga, fiction or fable?
An unending darkness it seems un-likeable!

Though like a rose within thorns,
However the pricks leave nothing to adorn.

“A beautiful journey” they call it;
But nothing looks nice when in a pit.

Reasons to smile and laugh, life gives,
At times bruises though it leaves.

Friends, relations, nothing seems to matter,
Sympathetic words they all have just to flatter.

Pain, hurt, upset, too big is the wound,
Get back to usual, I just wish I could!

Busy in work, to distract, I try to be,
To the smile box, where is the key?

Things look dull, day seems long,
Find myself alone even in swarm.

Heart is full, the tide is low,
Nothing to do, nowhere to go

An unending darkness, no light to see,
Wish I could have a life that’s easy.

ANOTHER DAY IN PARADISE….

This one goes to all those innocent “extraterrestrials” racking their already oh-so-drained-out brains in front of the fucking computer screen!

No prizes for guessing it right… even the kid on the street would get it…

And for those dummy souls who still are scratching their heads wondering who am I talking about, it’s IT PROFESSIONALS!!!

Gentlemen and ladies and bald headed babies, welcome to PARADISE…

We define this paradise as a 4 n a half ft wide cubicle where there is space for every soul in this industry to express ones “anything-except-work” capabilities to ones best!

Let me elaborate more on a usual day routine.

9:00am- beat the mad MAD rush to reach office on time.
9:30am- you realize that you have just managed to reach well without any scratches or bruises.

BREAKFAST- menu as usual, poha, upma, bread omlette and any shit under the sun!

Reach paradise and all you find in the 15” screen are the loads of wretched “good morning” mails… total piece of crap. By the time you are deleting those, you find yourself right under your team-leader’s nose who is ready with I’ve-planned-how-to-torture-you-today smile.

Who says I don’t love my work… I am so damn in love with the monotonous “work-unwork-rework-get yelled at-sulk-still work” schedule.

Somehow time hauls and yo!!! Its time for lunch…

Oops!! How could I forget to mention about the awakening coffee breaks…
(Coffee, n. break fluid)

So in the second half, you manage to hold yourself inspite of the “I m sooooooo sleepy” mode…

Coffee intake increases now and blogging comes to mind.
Start writing…
Towards the end of the page realize that what’s being written is all bull-shit!!
Pity the readers.
